Jevon + Justin
by TeyeMedia on Aug.19, 2010, under Engagements, Expecting, Family, Weddings
Marriage is not a noun; it’s a verb. It isn’t something you get. It’s something you do. It’s the way you love your partner every day. I love my job because it shows me day by day how people who values life, live life. I’ve witnessed so many unions far and beyond, and I have been part of so many people’s life on their happy day. But I always try to take something with me each and every time I have the opportunity to be a partaker.
In the case of Jevon and Justin, I came to the full understanding of the word “Love”. You don’t have to be there to witness their undying commitment for one another. I saw strong hopes, trust, commitment, great communication, love and the fear of God. This two guys brought 2 large families together, and I was unable to differentiate who belongs to where. If you are a true fan of TeyeMedia, you should have met them here on the blog. Please enjoy this blog and leave your opinion in form of a comment… Image is Everything!!!

Aare + Family
by TeyeMedia on Aug.05, 2010, under Expecting, Family
Aare is more of a brother than a client. I knew him during the tough days, you know back in the days of the hurricanes, and he represents only one in a gazillion, one who will stand by you and with you in times of bad weather…. He’s just one of a kind.
I was glad to meet his lovely family, and to have a session with them at their residence. The session was supposed to be a pregnancy shoot, but we turned it to a family shoot and back to pregnancy shoot, but before you know it, the day was over. It was more like a family love fest, more like a union with light, camera, action. It was a day that will always be remembered, a memory that will linger for a lifetime. Please enjoy this blog and leave you opinion if form of a comment… Image is Everything!!!

The Osilesi’s
by TeyeMedia on Jul.26, 2010, under Family, Weddings
This is one of the numerous fun filled jobs that I did in the first quarter of this year. I shot this wedding sometimes in April, and the day went by so fast with the colorful, animated and energized family we had. The bride and groom have always been a good friend and a great fan of TeyeMedia. We have our friendship dated as far back as before the Iraq war.
Their love is a heavenly defined union that came into existence by divine and everlasting natural love. If I should blog this wedding the way I would have loved, it’s going to take about 100 images. So I selected just a few and I couldn’t even get to their elegant native attires. To view the entire gallery, you can click on the website link above, click on “Client” and enter their unique password. Also, you can visit the Osilesi’s wedding website at www.anuandabiola.com Please enjoy this blog and leave your opinion in form of a comment. Image is Everything

Success (Olaolu Onolaja)
by TeyeMedia on Jun.13, 2010, under Family, Groups
Dale Carnegie said, “Success is getting what you want, and happiness is wanting what you get”. When you look into the lives of the following individuals that I’m about to mention below, you will agree with me that there is no other word to describe what they have achieved in life than the word “success”. And because education is never received but achieved, I also call their success a great achievement.
Oga mi, Ololade Falobi, called me and said her sister, Olaolu Onolaja who just finished her Master degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems at the famous John Hopkins University, Baltimore MD, will be having a private family dinner at a location in downtown Baltimore. Mind you, John Hopkins is rated #19 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU.ORG), hummm, I began to wonder, how old is this girl, cos she look so young that I thought she was a teenager. But getting to the dinner which is more like a family affair, I realize that success is guided and surrounded by success. There were 3 other professional graduates, Kola Olagbemiro – University of Maryland, College Park, Robert H. Smith School of Business; Masters of Science – Accounting and Audit, Bamiji Olagbemiro – Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School; Masters of Science – Information and Telecommunication System and Dr. Victoria Motunrayo Olagbemiro – Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Honors – Magna Cum Laude. Now you’ll get the idea of what I was talking about.
It was very difficult for me to select these pictures because all images from the event are looking very successful, and the joy they share as one family reflects on it. But since I’m only going to blog a few, I advise that you scroll down slowly. Please enjoy the images and leave your opinion in form of a comment… Image is Everything!!!

Jevon + Justin
by TeyeMedia on Apr.26, 2010, under Engagements, Family, Weddings
A little while ago, during the snow storm that seems never ending in the east coast, TeyeMedia decided to open and run for 24 hours. The second night of the storm, I got a call from Justin. He said “we have been on your website since the beginning of the storm and my fiancée and I have decided that we are going to use you for our wedding coming up in August”, he continued by saying, “Jevon loves your work so much that we wouldn’t mind changing our date if you are booked already”. Wow, I quickly ran to the bathroom to grab some robb to rub down my swelling head.
Jevon and Justin came over to the studio and we headed out for DC for this shoot. Hummm, it was a long day, 3 hours of traffic, 4 hours of photo session, 1 hour lunch and a good 1 hour of cab ride within the capital, just to get buy. At the end, we became more that Client-Photographer, we became friends, we talk often and I ask them about the wedding plans like we are doing it together, we talk about the baby they have on the way, Ooops TMI… Please enjoy the pictures and leave your opinion in for of a comment… Image is Everything!!!

Tari + Gbenga
by TeyeMedia on Apr.20, 2010, under Engagements, Family, Fashion, Weddings
Tari and Gbenga, well, what else can I say about this wonderful couple? If you look into the images very closely, you can tell a love story from their laughter, affection, and everything that they represent. When they told me the story about how they met, I was convinced that it was a direct divine connection, a very powerful story that I refuse to share here on the blog, at least as of now. When married and the story have been told on their special day, June 19th, 2010, I will then update this blog, so please come back and read it.
We had this session at TeyeMedia’s studio outdoors and surroundings. They were very spontaneous and needed very little to no direction on all posses because they were just natural. I can feel the genuine love they have for each other through my camera viewfinder, and I must confess that it was one of the most fun shoot I’ve ever had. Please enjoy the blog and leave your opinion in form of a comment. Image is Everything!!!

Anu’s Shower
by TeyeMedia on Mar.20, 2010, under Engagements, Family, Weddings
About a decade ago when I came into the United State, somehow, Anu was the first person I talked to on a cell phone, and since then, she has remained a member of the Teye Network Family. She’s such a young beautiful professional who is God fearing and well dedicated to the success of herself and people around her. So when she told me about getting married to this lucky man “Abiola”, I had no fear because from the name alone, I realize she made the right choice, and when I met him, I said to myself, a million single ladies have just lost a golden crown to the owner of the crown.
Debbie, well I call her Debbie. Deborah Owolabi is someone I call a friend, she not only in need but in deed. From email, to facebook, to evite, to text, she single handedly got involve with the TeyeMedia crew to ensure that all necessary requirements are met and that her friend, Anu, will be satisfied when the word “surprise” is flying around at her bridal shower. I was enthused by her energy and as usual, I got there so early, which gave me the opportunity to meet Anu’s mom and sisters before the event. Anu’s mom was sitting at the door, so as soon as she opens the door, the surprise started and ended.
It was a fun shower, beautiful, single, well I don’t know, but beautiful girls from across the nation came to grace her, and Charles (Abiola) who came to drop her, came back at the end of the shower and showed us a tip of the dance steps we should expect in April. You can click here to see details of her wedding on facebook, and also click here to view their website Please enjoy this blog and leave your opinion in form of a comment… Image is Everything!!!

9jaWear
by TeyeMedia on Feb.21, 2010, under Fashion, Groups
9jaWear is the new Naija clothing line everyone has been talking about this season. These two creative and business minded brothers from the motherland, Kenna and Nnamdi Ofoegbu, alongside Korede Ayanniyi the graphics designer, Julius Mbidomti, Nigreia cohort and Ugonna Ugo, UK cohort, set out to deliver their ingenious mind of art to the general population. 9jaWear kicked off in Baltimore MD in 2007 as an idea, and was fully implemented in late 2009. For more info, you can click here to check out their Facebook page.
Kenna invited TeyeMedia to handle their first shoot to showcase the innovative idea of these brothers, and we actually had the shoot just right before the birthday party for Nnamdi. A quick and little section that jumpstarted the party. We had four (4) beautiful ladies, Renne, Anifa, Ashley and Tina, and don’t bother asking about the makeup artist, her name is Feyi, and she did a fantastic job at the shoot, so should in case you want to find her, click here to do so. Mother of the Year (Sweet Mother)
by TeyeMedia on Feb.11, 2010, under Family
Yesterday marks another year in my history. February 10th will remain a day of reform in my life, a day I look up to the sky for the very first time, and asked Him a question like I could see Him face to face, why my mother? I got a call from my dear sister in Lagos, She said sweet mother left Akure but did not get to her in Lagos, a story I wished was a fairytale.
Growing up, I always feel like she’s too strict for my liking. I forever wait for my dad to come back home before I lay down my issues (May his gentle soul also Rest in Perfect Peace). But when I discovered myself, things changed, I began to understand my dearest mother, she became my best friend, she began to teach me all I needed to get by and excel in life. She taught me about God, she told me if I make Him my Alpha and Omega, then I will have someone there for me anytime I feel like I’m alone, and will never have to wonder. She always tell me she’s not going to be around forever, but her prayers is for God to spare her life so that she can be around as needed. She has eight (8) wonderful kids (we don’t count in-laws, we are all her kids) and eight (8) beautiful, bright and brilliant grandchildren. My mother is an impartial mother, she cares for not only her kids but every other kids around her.
At a ripe retirement age, she retired as a Headmistress (so you can call me omo teacher), and was able to focus on her full time job, which was taking care of all her kids, grown, young, married or single. She’s so selfless in life and dedicated everything she does to the existence of her children. My mother and father have some type of bond in them, so close to each other, such a beautiful friend and lovers…. I saw that true love in them when they renewed their vows when daddy turned 80, they upgraded their wedding rings and it was more than love that I saw in them, I saw patience, trust, dedication, hope, and trust in God. Mommy never sleeps all through the year, and she never misses any of her kids or grandkids birthday or anniversary in the family.
It hurts that there is no way I can pay you back, but my plan is make sure you are never forgotten in life, my goal is to make sure you are known to the entire world… I love you, I miss you… Image is Everything!!!

GIFFIZLE @ QUATER
by TeyeMedia on Feb.09, 2010, under Birthday, Family, Fashion
The DMV version of the first appearance of 9ice alapomeji live on stage was co-hosted by GFEM promos. Although I’ve known him long enough before then, but for the fact that all four shows exclusive images was contracted to TeyeMedia as well, we got to know more about each other while working on the logistics.
Ayaba Bolanle, his first lady, called me about a surprise party organized for Femi, I looked into my schedule and we had a deal. This was a Baltimore solo event for his close friends and unique family members, and I must tell you that the gala was much fun and a fulfilled day for everyone that came from far and wide, and the food was so good too, but I didn’t get the chance to take away. Please enjoy this blog and leave your opinion in form of a comment… Image is Everything!!!
